In their own words

BoomCloud

BoomCloud is web-based membership plan software for dental practices. It helps practices create and manage in-house plans, automate recurring payments, and reduce dependence on PPO fee schedules. The platform includes a plan builder, member management, automated billing, payment and opportunity reporting, and reward tracking. Website integration supports online patient sign-up. Pro and Multi-Location plans list Dentrix, Eaglesoft, and Open Dental integrations; other practice systems can be scoped with the team. Pro also includes a Patient Marketplace, a marketplace listing, and a featured listing. BoomCloud says practices retain their brand, pricing, patient list, and enrolled members if they leave. A desktop assistant highlights uninsured patients on the practice schedule and gives front desk staff tools to invite them to join a membership plan. The maker offers a 30-day free trial with setup help, no setup fee, and cancellation at any time. Basic costs $197 a month per location plus $4.50 per member per month; Pro costs $397 a month per location plus $3.50 per member per month. A free option is limited to practices working with a BoomCloud Certified Consultant and up to 10 members.

Vagaro

Vagaro is business management and scheduling software for beauty, wellness, and fitness businesses. It combines booking pages and payments with calendar and resource management, reporting, inventory, invoices, memberships, packages, gift certificates, and customer tracking. Businesses can offer group bookings, automated reminders, and two-way calendar sync. Vagaro says it serves independent providers through businesses with multiple locations, and listings on the Vagaro Marketplace come at no additional cost. The web-based service is available through vagaro.com, with Vagaro Pro apps for Apple and Android devices. QuickBooks and Xero integrations can import sales transactions, taxes, tips, and refunds; when synchronization starts, QuickBooks initially imports only the previous two months of Vagaro data. APIs and webhooks can connect accounts to external systems and send real-time business-event notifications. The One Location plan costs $30 a month, billed monthly, for one location. A United States base subscription is listed at $23.99 a month for the first six months, with one bookable calendar included. Vagaro offers a 30-day trial, which excludes email marketing, text marketing, and the branded app.
