BOOTH
BOOTH is a marketplace for barbershop owners looking to rent chairs or booths to barbers. Shop owners can list openings, handle inquiries, and manage hiring, while a dashboard brings together rosters, payments, analytics, and live shop activity. Recurring rent can be collected automatically using cards on file, and owners can create digital rental contracts for e-signature. Barbers earn points on rent paid through BOOTH and can redeem them for products. Profiles and shop listings can link to booking tools such as Booksy, Fresha, Squire, and The Cut. Owner payouts run through Stripe Connect, with instant or standard options. BOOTH says it adds a 5% platform fee to the barber’s rent; standard Stripe card-processing fees also apply. The free shop-owner plan has no monthly or setup fee, but transaction fees still apply. BOOTH is live in open beta and available on Android, iOS, and the web. Multi-location support and cross-shop analytics are roadmap features. Paid plans start at $25/mo.
NXRENT
NXRENT combines rent collection, renter management, lease tracking, and maintenance tools for salon suite and booth rental operators. It is available on web, Android, and iOS. Owners can set recurring invoices, autopay, failed-card retries, and configurable late fees. Renters use a mobile-ready browser portal to pay invoices, review payment history and lease documents, message owners, and submit maintenance requests without installing an app. Owners can see occupancy and rent status, track lease dates, and send renewal prompts automatically. Email reminders cover due rent, overdue balances, and lease renewals, and a weekly owner digest is available. Revenue reports show collected rent and outstanding balances by suite or location; CSV exports are included on Growth and Scale. Payment processing supports Stripe and Square. Starter costs $33 a month and includes one location, unlimited booth renters, 1 GB of document storage, and 100 rent reminders per month. Growth is $66 a month, and Scale is $99 a month. A 7-day trial is available, with 25 shared SMS messages during the trial.
