SaveEditor.net

SaveEditor.net is a free web-based tool for editing game save files, with current support for RPG Maker MV/MZ. Users upload a file, make changes in the browser, then download it for the game’s save folder; no software installation is required. The RPG Maker editor accepts .rpgsave, .save, and .json files, and can identify formats encrypted with some plugins. The homepage also claims support for RPG Maker, RenPy, and more, while the site says it currently supports RPG Maker MV/MZ and is working to add other formats. Instructions cover save locations for Windows, Steam, and Android through JoiPlay. The editor advises making a copy of the original before editing. Its privacy policy says uploaded saves are handled in temporary server RAM and wiped after processing or download, with no copies retained. The terms warn that save corruption or lost progress is the user’s responsibility and say the utility is unofficial and not endorsed by game developers or publishers. The maker describes the tools as intended for single-player game saves.
