In their own words
Bounceless
Bounceless verifies and cleans email lists, returning confidence levels, reason codes, and a Pre-Send Decision to send, review, or suppress each address. Its checks cover syntax, domain and MX posture, and mailbox signals when the receiving server permits them. Catch-all addresses receive reduced confidence because the service cannot confirm a particular mailbox; Gmail and similar major webmail providers are marked uncertain rather than safe to send. Users can upload a CSV through the web workspace or use the API, then export results. The REST API and event webhooks use the same result format, as do its MCP server and agent skills. Bounceless does not offer native app integrations; it describes CSV export, bulk verification, and re-import workflows for email platforms. A base check costs 1 credit, fresh deep catch-all resolution costs 5, and cached resolution costs 3; unknown results are not billed. Platforms are web and API. A free plan includes 1,000 credits monthly; paid plans start at $19/mo, and one-time credit packs are also listed.
ZeroBounce
ZeroBounce verifies email addresses, cleans lists, and provides tools for sender reputation and inbox health. Validation is offered for bulk files and through a real-time API; the company claims 99.6% accuracy. Deliverability features include email warmup, inbox placement and server testing, blacklist and DMARC monitoring, and a dashboard. AI Email Scoring ranks addresses from 1 to 10, while Email Finder looks for professional addresses using a name and company domain. ZeroBounce lists more than 40 integrations and also supports API, SDK, and Zapier connections. An iOS app is available for list cleaning. The company says uploaded files are encrypted after TLS upload and deleted within 30 days, and that it operates its own data center and hardware rather than storing customer data on public cloud providers. A business account gets 100 free verifications per month. Pay-As-You-Go costs $39, paid once for 2,000 validations; ZeroBounce ONE costs $99 a month.
