In their own words
Boxy SVG
Boxy SVG is an SVG editor for beginners, professional designers, and developers. It lets users adjust object geometry, transforms, paint, and other properties directly on the canvas. The editor saves SVG and SVGZ files and exports PNG, JPG, WebP, PDF, and HTML5. It connects to Pixabay and other libraries for free stock photos and vector assets, and integrates with Google Fonts. Web developers get a Chromium-based rendering engine, an SVG and CSS code inspector, and tools for editing SVG sprites. Boxy SVG runs on Android, iOS, Linux, macOS, web, and Windows, with desktop and mobile apps; it is also available as an installable PWA. Boxy SVG Cloud offers up to 10 GB of storage at no charge, with a quote available for more. The paid product has a 15-day free trial without requiring a credit card, then charges annually at an amount shown as a page variable. The separate Web Component has customer-specific pricing and supports self-hosting, white-labeling, embedding, and custom-element frameworks.
Vector Magic
Vector Magic converts bitmap images into vector graphics through a browser-based tool or desktop application. The online edition accepts JPG, PNG, BMP, and GIF files and exports SVG, EPS, and PDF. The desktop edition adds AI and DXF output and can convert images offline. The tracing process detects settings automatically and renders in full color, after which users can review results, adjust settings, and edit them. Desktop tools include advanced vectorization controls, batch processing, transparency support, and copy-paste or drag-and-drop workflows with graphics software such as Illustrator and CorelDRAW. Desktop image limits are 20 megapixels on Windows and 5 megapixels on Mac. Online users can upload, convert, and preview without commitment, but need a subscription to download results. The desktop trial allows previews but disables saving until activated with a purchased license. Online Edition costs $9.95 a month; Desktop Edition costs $295, paid once for one user on two computers, with the same license for PC and Mac.
