In their own words

Braintree ACH Direct Debit

Braintree ACH Direct Debit lets customers pay by debiting a US bank account over the ACH network. It is available to eligible merchants able to build a custom client-side integration with the JavaScript v3 SDK, and it is not available in Braintree Drop-in UI. Merchants can verify accounts through network checks, micro-transfers, independent verification or instant verification using secure open banking connections. Once an account is successfully verified, its details can be tokenized as a one-time-use payment method nonce or vaulted as a persistent payment method token; verification is required before the account can be used for transactions. Server-side SDKs are listed for Java,.NET, Node.js, PHP, Python and Ruby, with a GraphQL implementation also linked. Standard ACH costs $0.75, capped at $5.00. Same-day ACH costs $1.50 plus $0.10. Published fees apply to US accounts, and use is subject to eligibility, an application and PayPal approval. Braintree identifies itself as a PayPal service.

PPRO

PPRO is a local payments platform for businesses that need to offer payment methods used in markets around the world. It connects to digital wallets, bank transfers, local cards, buy now pay later, and cash-based methods across more than 85 markets. Businesses can integrate through a RESTful API, Direct API, Hosted Payment Pages, or Drop-in Checkout. Six standardised authentication flows let one integration support methods that share a flow. Transactions are processed in local currency, with settlement available in a currency and geography selected by the customer. The platform also provides reporting, foreign exchange, reconciliation, and local tax calculation and deduction. Its Global Disputes Platform supports dispute and risk management. In Latin America, in-country acquiring connections support smart routing and backup strategies, and PPRO can act as Merchant of Record. It serves payment service providers, enterprise merchants, independent sales organisations, and independent software vendors. Pricing is on request; fees may include setup, monthly minimum, transaction, or service fees.
