In their own words
BriefSmith
BriefSmith is web-based proposal software for agencies that drafts proposals and checks their scope before they reach clients. It creates structured documents with an executive summary, approach, deliverables, timeline, investment, payment terms, and scope limits. Its checks flag vague deliverables, missing limits, scope gaps, and over-promises. Teams can set shared proposal structure, tone, and scope limits, then export proposals as branded PDFs or individual proposals as Word documents. BriefSmith tracks proposal status, client opens, and win-rate trends. Its free Scope Check requires no signup and flags scope risks; BriefSmith says submitted text is read once and discarded. The 14-day trial with a card includes the full product without a proposal limit; the no-card option includes three generated proposals. The Founding Member plan is $29 a month, billed at $29/month, with a founding rate locked while subscribed for the first 50 agencies. Briefs are processed by Anthropic, and BriefSmith says content is not used to train AI models.
Lurio
Lurio is a web-based tool for creating animated presentations and proposals for review and sharing. Its client proposal generator turns a short brief into draft sections for approach, deliverables, team, timeline, pricing and case studies. It can read a website or an existing deck to identify a brand's palette, type and tone. Five review agents assess Strategy, Narrative, Data Integrity, Brand Compliance and Audience Fit, with cited critiques. Users can create tailored deck editions for clients, investors, committees or other stakeholders.
The proposal workflow supports partner approvals and an audit trail showing who contributed, what was flagged or changed, and who approved the proposal. Named-link analytics show who opened a deck, how far they read and slide-by-slide visit replays. The Free plan costs nothing and includes up to three decks, unlimited edits, link sharing and imports from PDF, Excel and HTML prototypes. Pro is listed at $15 a month, billed $15 / user / month; Intelligence is $29 a month, billed $29 / user / month. A three-day trial is listed.
