In their own words
Bright Data Residential Proxies
Bright Data Residential Proxies routes traffic through residential IP addresses to help users access target websites and view location-specific information. The service lists over 400 million monthly residential IPs across 195 countries, with targeting by country, city, state, ZIP code, carrier, and ASN. Sessions can be sticky or rotating, and supported protocols include HTTP/S, SOCKS5, and QUIC. The product page lists an approximately 0.7-second response time and a 99.95% success rate. Users can manage proxies through a control panel or API, set daily usage limits, and manage teams and sub-users. Integrations include guides for Selenium, Puppeteer, and Playwright. The network says its residential IPs are opted in by participating peers, and access requires KYC and a compliance process. A free trial is available without a credit card; its traffic is not counted toward the bill. Plans include Pay As You Go at $4, paid once, 141 GB for $499 a month, 332 GB for $999 a month, and 798 GB for $1,999 a month; enterprise pricing is custom.
Node4 Residential Proxies
Node4 Residential Proxies provides residential proxy exits for location-specific data access and other proxy-enabled workloads. Residential plans cover more than 170 countries and support country, state, city, and ASN targeting. HTTP(S) and SOCKS5 are supported on paid plans; the free tier supports HTTP(S) only. The free tier never expires and requires no card, but is limited to 3 proxies, 1 GB per month, and 10 concurrent threads. Paid plans are billed monthly, starting with Residential 3 GB at $7.47 a month; Residential Entry is also listed at $7.47 a month with 3 GB and unlimited threads. Users can choose a new IP per connection or use best-effort sticky sessions without a set duration. The REST API has scoped keys, an OpenAPI specification, and a limit of 60 requests per minute per key. A dashboard reports bandwidth and requests by date range, proxy type, and country. Node4 says it does not inspect traffic or terminate TLS. Standard HTTP or SOCKS5 proxy clients can connect, with examples for several programming languages. The service supports API, Linux, macOS, web, and Windows.
