Brixx

Brixx is a web-based financial forecasting and business planning platform for entrepreneurs, accountants, finance teams, and advisors. It models cash flow, profit and loss, and balance sheets, with forecast windows ranging from one to ten years according to the plan. Users can test best-case, worst-case, and stress scenarios by changing assumptions such as prices, demand, and costs. Brixx generates cash flow, profit and loss, balance sheet, budget, and tax reports, which can be exported to PDF, PNG, or Excel. Plans can be shared with unlimited users using editor or viewer permissions. Data imports include Xero, QuickBooks, and CSV; the Xero connection is read-only and excludes invoice-level details and customer records. Foundations costs $25 a month for one plan and up to a one-year forecast. Professional costs $50 a month for three plans and up to three years. Enterprise costs $75 a month for five plans and up to ten years, with extra plans at $5 /month. A free 7-day trial requires no credit card. Brixx is available on the web and includes email and live chat support during UK business hours.

Float

Float turns data from connected accounting software into rolling cash flow forecasts for finance teams. It offers weekly and 13-week views, plus monthly forecasts that extend up to three years on Growth and Scale. Users can adjust income and costs, model scenarios and estimate new-hire costs before committing. Float shows invoices and bills with expected payment dates based on when clients actually pay. Its current accounting integrations are Xero and QuickBooks Online; a direct Sage Intacct connection is described as coming soon. Float does not connect directly to banks: bank transaction data comes through the connected accounting platform. Data syncs every 24 hours, with manual sync also available. Teams can comment on budget lines, invoices, bills and payments, tag colleagues and receive mention notifications. Admin, Editor and Viewer roles govern access. Float lists encryption in transit and at rest, multi-factor authentication, role-based access and independent auditing to the UK government-backed Cyber Essentials standard. The web service has no free plan; pricing starts at $105/mo (annual), with a 14-day trial. Essentials forecasts up to 12 months; Growth and Scale cover 36 months.
