Overview

OutX combines social listening with prospect discovery: it tracks keywords, profiles, and companies, surfacing posts, job changes, and birthdays as potential signals. That breadth is useful for teams monitoring several kinds of activity, but it does not replace the need to judge whether a signal merits outreach.

Signals are ranked by intent, and AI can draft a reply in the user's voice. Replies are ready to send from the user's real account, which supports human-led outreach rather than establishing that messages are automatically sent. OutX also supports outreach automation, though auto-engagement is reserved for paid plans.

Key features

Monitoring and alerts: Social Listening supports Slack, email, in-app notifications, and webhooks. Teams can route signals to the channel that suits their workflow, and export watchlists or signal feeds to CSV.
Lead capture: The Chrome extension saves LinkedIn profiles and companies to watchlists and the dashboard. Saved leads can be pushed to HubSpot, Salesforce, or Pipedrive, making it more useful to teams already working in one of those CRMs.
Extension limits and data handling: The base extension is free, while auto-engagement and high-volume scraping require a paid plan. OutX says extension traffic is end-to-end encrypted and that it complies with GDPR and CCPA. Its privacy policy says extracted LinkedIn data is not kept beyond the session unless exported, and that it does not collect or store LinkedIn login details. Its servers are in the US and EU; the site also lists GDPR and SOC 2 Type II.

Pricing

OutX has a free plan, paid plans billed monthly, and a 7-day trial. The clearest way to compare tiers is by weekly lead capacity, profile tracking, watchlists, and data freshness:

Plan	Price	Limits and features
Free	0.00 USD per free	500 leads/week, limited profiles tracked, 2 private watchlists, 12/24 hrs data freshness, and location filter
Growth	99.00 USD per month	2,000 leads/week, 1,000 profiles tracked, 5 private watchlists, every 24 hrs data freshness, and location filter
Expert	249.00 USD per month	5,000 leads/week, 4,000 profiles tracked, 20 private watchlists, every 12 hrs data freshness, and location filter included
Ultimate	999.00 USD per month	10,000 leads/week, 20,000 profiles tracked, 100 private watchlists, every 6 hrs data freshness, and location filter included

Free is a sensible starting point for low-volume prospecting, but limited profile tracking and just two private watchlists constrain ongoing monitoring. Growth raises the weekly cap and profile ceiling and is the entry paid tier for teams that need more capacity. Expert and Ultimate increase those limits and refresh signals more often; their much larger quotas are most relevant to teams managing broader watchlists or higher-volume lead work.

Support also scales by plan: Growth includes email support, Expert adds Slack support, and Ultimate includes email, Slack, and WhatsApp support. The free tier has a weekly cap of 500 leads; the paid tiers raise it to 2,000, 5,000, and 10,000 respectively. Auto-engagement and high-volume scraping are paid-plan features.

Platforms

OutX runs on the web and as a Chrome extension. That suits teams that want a dashboard for monitoring and an in-browser way to save LinkedIn profiles and companies. The extension's lead-saving workflow is LinkedIn-focused, while signal monitoring covers LinkedIn and Reddit.

Who it's for

OutX is a fit for sales, marketing, and founder-led teams that prospect from social activity and want intent-ranked signals, reply drafting, and lead capture in one workflow. It is less compelling for teams whose work does not involve LinkedIn or Reddit, or whose lead volume exceeds the plan limits.

Pros and cons

Pro: LinkedIn and Reddit monitoring broadens the pool of social signals beyond a single network.
Pro: Intent ranking, reply drafting, CSV exports, and CRM lead handoff connect discovery to follow-up.
Pro: The free plan includes 500 leads per week and two private watchlists, offering a practical way to start before paying.
Con: Profile tracking is limited on Free, and the paid plans start at 99.00 USD per month, a meaningful step up for small teams needing more capacity.
Con: Data freshness ranges from 12/24 hrs on Free to every 6 hrs on Ultimate, so the most frequent refreshes require the highest-priced plan.
Con: Auto-engagement and high-volume scraping are gated to paid plans, limiting what the free extension can do.

Verdict

Choose OutX if your team wants to find prospects through LinkedIn and Reddit activity and values intent-ranked signals, reply drafts, and CRM-ready lead capture. Its free tier is useful for a modest workload, but teams should look elsewhere if they need a different platform focus or cannot justify the paid plans for higher lead and profile limits.
