ByteStash
ByteStash is a code snippet manager for saving, searching, revising and sharing code. Each save creates a revision that can be named, compared with a diff or restored. A snippet can contain multiple files, each with its own language, syntax highlighting and diff. Full-text search covers titles, descriptions, tags and file contents, with filters for language, collection or tag. Users can make snippets public, share tokenised links with expiry and password options, or embed them with a script tag. ByteStash also provides an MCP server with nine tools and OAuth 2.1 workspace consent; named compatible clients include Claude Code, Claude Desktop, Cursor and Codex. Importers cover GitHub Gist, snippet-box and the original ByteStash. The Free plan allows 100 snippets per workspace and one member, with 120 API requests per minute. Pro costs £2.50 a month, billed annually at £30, and includes unlimited snippets, one member, 600 API requests per minute and the MCP server. Team costs £5 a month, billed annually at £60 per seat; it includes up to 500 members, 1,500 API requests per minute, an audit log, roles and permissions.
KlipCode
KlipCode is a web-based code snippet manager for saving, organizing, and copying code. You can start without an account; guest workspaces stay on the current device. Signing in with GitHub saves the library to KlipCode and synchronizes it across devices. Its editor provides syntax highlighting for more than 25 languages, auto-save, and code formatting. Rich Markdown mode supports notes and documents alongside snippets. Nested folders, drag-and-drop rearrangement, one-click clipboard copying, search, pinned items, trash recovery, keyboard shortcuts, and a search palette organize the library. A service worker caches the app shell so the interface can load offline. Signed-in users can generate a name for an untitled snippet with Workers AI. KlipCode is open source under the MIT License. The free plan costs nothing, has no snippet limits, and has no paid plans. Cloud records are encrypted per user only when the specified Cloudflare Worker secret is configured.
