Its API supports importing and updating members or users, creating and updating events, and RSS feeds for members and groups. The privacy statement describes secured servers, firewalls exposing only necessary services, and browser-to-server protocols such as TLS 1.2. CampusGroups launched in 2005 at New York University's Stern School of Business; its maker is based in Burlington, Massachusetts. The service runs on web, Android, and iOS. Pricing is on request for a campus-wide platform.
Early Alert
Early Alert is a web-based service from Circles of Support, Inc. that sends text wellness check-ins and connects people showing possible distress with organizational support. Participants register through their organization’s web portal; it is not an app. Check-ins usually ask one question rated from 0 to 10, with frequency adjustable from the weekly default. Organizations choose wellness domains, including mental, physical, relational, spiritual, and financial health, and provide relevant resources. When responses indicate a challenge, Early Alert can present institutional resources, self-help micro-interventions, or live crisis counseling. A real-time dashboard aggregates de-identified responses to show patterns and clusters of distress, with customizable demographic data. Setup is estimated at about 30 minutes, and ongoing operation is described as requiring no administrative time. The paid service uses pricing on request and supports SMS outreach, surveys, risk alerts, automated campaigns, and engagement analytics. It is not an emergency response system or continuously monitored service.
