Canva Whiteboards

Canva Whiteboards provides an infinite shared workspace for brainstorming, planning, workshops and diagramming. People can work together in real time using colorful cursors, including collaborators who do not have Canva accounts. Users can create as many boards as they need, each with unlimited space. Board tools include timers, comments, sticky notes with reactions, customizable shapes and automatic connectors. Templates and Canva's content library supply starting points and visual elements. Boards can be turned into Presentations or Docs, and a Presentation slide can be expanded into a Whiteboard. Canva lists mind mapping, collaborative assignments and online teaching among the possible uses. It offers a free plan and free trial. Canva Whiteboards are available on Android, iOS, macOS, Windows and the web. Canva says content is private by default, and shared access to private designs requires account login unless the design is shared. It also provides a Help Center for product and account guidance.

Padlet Sandbox

Padlet Sandbox is a collaborative digital canvas for drawing, writing, and adding media. People can contribute together and see one another’s additions in real time. Add cards and play them in sequence as a slideshow for a lesson, presentation, or storybook, or connect card content to build branching activities, interactive documents, and games. The product page describes more than 25 tools, including breakout rooms, keyboard shortcuts, object linking, granular permissions, and automatic content moderation. Sandbox supports diagramming, workshop templates, guest collaboration, presentation mode, and voting, but it is not an infinite canvas. It runs on Android, iOS, macOS, Windows, and the web, with support for major browsers. Google options include sign-in, Classroom sharing, and Drive files; Padlet also supports importing Jamboards. The Free plan is free and includes 3 padlets, 20MB uploads, 1 user, 2-minute videos, and 5-minute audio. After June 30, 2026, free accounts are limited to 3 total Sandboxes and boards; additional Sandboxes become read-only unless the user upgrades.
