Capera
Capera is a free web platform that teaches financial literacy to students. Short lessons cover credit, taxes, paychecks, rent, investing, and student loans across eight learning paths, including Money Basics, College Money, Credit & Debt, and First Job & Paychecks. The site lists 14 calculators for questions such as take-home pay, loan payoff, and compound growth. A private money coach answers questions using Capera’s lessons. The seven-day money reset provides one lesson and one tool each day, estimated at about 10 minutes daily. A 12-question money personality quiz requires no signup or email. Capera says every lesson and tool is free and will remain free, with language intended to be understandable to a 14-year-old. Its free plan costs nothing and includes lessons and tools without signup or a paywall. Accounts, streaks, and a leaderboard are planned for a future launch.
