Capital Radar
Capital Radar is a hosted web platform for researching limited partners, general partners, funds, and private companies. It connects LP mandates, fund strategies, and investor preferences with visible match components, alongside search across companies, GPs, LPs, and funds. Its workflows cover deal sourcing, initial investment diligence, portfolio-change monitoring, and exit-readiness research. As of July 2026, its database lists 62,000+ fund vehicles, 12,000+ GPs and investors, 1,700+ LP organizations, 46,000+ private companies, and 46,000+ hiring records. Scores are signals for prioritization, not confirmed conclusions; the platform shows evidence and confidence, and missing data may lower confidence. The maker says its data combines public and licensed sources, authorized operator files, and manual observations, with normalization, identity resolution, and human corrections. The free Radar Brief is $0/year and includes a weekly briefing, selected fundraising signals, one chart or map, and updates. Capital Radar Platform is $1,490 a year; founding access is $990/year for the first 50 members. Teams pricing is custom.
VCPro Database
VCPro Database is a downloadable, searchable directory of venture capital and private equity firms for building targeted investor lists. The 2026 edition lists more than 7,670 firms worldwide, including 152 family investment offices. Profiles include firm contact details, named executives and direct emails, capital under management, investment size, stages, industry and geographic preferences, and portfolio companies. Users can search combinations of fields, save searches, and export results to Excel or CSV. The application can print records, create mailing labels, and store notes on firm records. After installation, it runs on the user's computer without an internet connection. The directory is updated twice a year, in January and July; this edition includes a free January 2027 update. A free trial has no expiry and requires no sign-up, but provides sample records and limits the amount of data. The VCPro Database 2026 plan is a one-time purchase of 119.95 USD. It is available for Windows and macOS, with requirements including Windows 7, 8.1, 10, or 11, or macOS 10.13 High Sierra or later.
