CareerExplorer
CareerExplorer is a web-based platform for finding career matches and planning how to pursue them. Its assessment uses machine learning, psychometrics, and career satisfaction data, measures more than 140 personality traits, and updates recommendations in real time when users add relevant information. The career library contains more than 1,500 career and degree profiles with information on salaries, market demand, and career satisfaction. The platform is designed for adults, high school students, and college students, and includes pathway planning and education matching. CareerExplorer for Organizations is a self-serve offering for schools, educational consultants, career counselors, nonprofits, and other organizations. Its administrator dashboard lets organizations monitor student progress and review results. CareerExplorer says it partners with education, coaching, and training organizations. The individual assessment has a free plan at free, with an option to upgrade to Membership. CareerExplorer was founded in 2012.
