In their own words
CareWay
CareWay is a Canadian AI medical scribe for healthcare professionals. It records consultations and turns them into clinical notes, using ambient capture or clinicians’ voice or typed instructions. Clinicians can start with pre-made templates or build custom templates for structured documentation, and transcripts can also be turned into referral letters, summaries, and patient handouts. CareWay names MYLE as its EMR integration, with notes generated directly in the patient file. Its Android and iOS app captures consultations on a phone and syncs automatically; notes can be reviewed and finalized on mobile or the web. CareWay says data is encrypted, stored on servers in Quebec, and original data is automatically deleted after 48 hours. It lists PIPEDA, TGV (MSSS), Quebec Law 25, and Law 3 among its standards, and requires patient consent before recording voices and clinical information. A free plan is offered to resident physicians. Unlimited Scribe is listed at $135 a month billed annually; the pricing note also says paid plans start at 135 CAD/user/mo (annual).
OneAdvanced Scribe
OneAdvanced Scribe is a web-based clinical note tool for primary care. It captures GP consultations through a computer microphone or VOIP telephone line, covering in-person, telephone and video appointments. Its AI turns the conversation into structured, editable notes, extracting symptoms, medications and plans for clinician review and sign-off. Scribe integrates with Online GP Consultation (Patchs), and reviewed notes can be sent to an EPR through one-click synchronisation. Without a Patchs licence, clinicians can copy notes manually into a chosen EPR. Vision 3 integration is described as coming soon. The product is identified as a Class I medical device. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, raw audio is deleted after the summary and transcript reach the EPR, and a time-stamped audit log preserves the unedited transcript and clinician edits. OneAdvanced says it may save up to three minutes per consultation. Pricing is on request.
