In their own words
Case Amplify
Case Amplify is AI-assisted case management software for human-services and social-service programs. It brings case records, documentation, client communication, tasks, workflows, configurable program data and reporting into one platform, with tools for custom intake forms, service plans, referrals and outcome tracking. Its AI can summarize case activity, draft notes, extract structured details from documents and help complete configured forms. Staff review and approve generated notes, extracted information and suggested actions before these become part of a record; extracted details can link back to their source conversation or document for verification. Teams can send clients SMS reminders and requests without requiring an app or internet access. The platform supports approved connections through APIs and structured exports. Case Amplify says it uses role-based access, audit logs, data-access logs and tenant-level controls, and that client data is not used to train public AI models. Its AI policy identifies Azure Direct Models hosted within Microsoft Foundry and says customer data is not used to train foundation models. The company says its processes and systems were independently audited for HIPAA and SOC 2 Type II standards. Pricing is on request, and the free trial period is agreed with the company. The terms prohibit using the platform to process Part 2 data.
OSCaR
OSCaR is an open-source case-management and record-keeping system for social-work-related programs. It brings assessments, risk levels, task lists, care plans, case notes, cross-referrals and alerts into one toolset, with Google Calendar integration. Organizations can create forms for structured or qualitative data, attach them to client or other records, and group tools into program streams. A report builder searches across programs, forms and assessments with AND/OR filters and exports results for analysis. Its mobile application supports field work with offline functionality, while web access and APIs support broader use and third-party integration. The feature overview lists HTTPS security, IP restrictions, four permission sets and change logs recording dates and users. Children in Families developed OSCaR with Save the Children International and USAID support. Pricing starts at $0.50 a month per active or accepted client, with hosting and support included.
