In their own words

CaseCraft

CaseCraft is legal research software that creates research memos using multiple LLM models, traditional machine learning, curated filters, and proprietary legal data. Users can set state, federal, or tribal jurisdictions, with research drawing on millions of cases. The maker says its collection of rule statements is intended to reduce hallucinations and ties answers to real cases. Users can upload contracts, leases, and licenses for analysis against relevant law. ChatCraft supports due diligence by finding case parentheticals, comparing rules, and extracting legal meaning. Judge-specific search lets users examine opinions and estimate their odds of prevailing. Listed subject areas include contracts, torts, and property, while primary-source coverage includes case law, statutes, and regulations. Some features consume credits per use. New users can get 10 free credits by downloading the app and registering a new phone number. CaseCraft runs on Android, iOS, and the web. Monthly plans range from $10 a month to $299 a month for the listed lawyer plan; one-time credit packs range from $4, paid once to $100, paid once.

Kvasir

Kvasir combines a legal research app with a REST and MCP grounding API for German, Austrian, Swiss, and EU law. It reports coverage across nine jurisdictions, with over 450,000 norms and over 450,000 court decisions refreshed daily. The API supports legal search, citation resolution, batch verification, draft checking, legal objects, and citation relations; it can also check citation existence and compare draft quotations with canonical wording. Full draft text is transmitted only through check_draft, which requires the separately granted legal.check scope. MCP setup is documented for ChatGPT, Claude, Microsoft 365 Copilot, Perplexity, and Mistral Le Chat; developer guides cover Claude Code, Claude Desktop, Cursor, and VS Code. Plain REST access is also available. The free Hobby plan costs nothing and includes the app, an API key, MCP, and 2,000 sips per month. A keyless sandbox allows 20 requests per day; the MCP demo allows 10 tool calls per day and IP. Kvasir says requests are processed in memory, not stored, while aggregate usage counters are retained.
