CaseMine
CaseMine is an AI-powered legal research platform for legal professionals and students, available on the web and through an API. Its research tools include case law and statute search, citation search, visual precedent maps, important paragraphs, bookmarks, search history, and topic alerts. Parallel Search uses natural language understanding to find conceptually relevant case law without requiring exact keyword matches. AMICUS AI lets users ask questions about legal documents, get information from them, draft documents, review contracts, and generate legal arguments. CaseIQ analyzes uploaded legal documents for cited cases, statutes, and argument patterns, then returns relevant case law and research suggestions. Listed coverage includes the Supreme Court, House of Lords, tribunals, and decisions from England and Wales, Scotland, and Northern Ireland; AI Premium adds cases from the USA, Ireland, and India. The RESTful API provides structured US case law, statutes, and regulations, with pricing available by request. CaseMine says it was founded in India in 2013. The Essential plan costs £499 a year; AI Pro costs £899 a year; AI Premium costs £1,199.99 a year. Free subscriptions are listed for students and for prosecutors and judges, with different monthly credit allowances. The platform offers a free trial.
CaseRead
CaseRead is legal research software that searches a firm's project files alongside public law and provides citations to both. Its public-law coverage spans federal statutes and regulations, those of all 50 states, DC and Puerto Rico, plus case law and federal materials. Deep research adds a web-search stage before producing an answer. Hallucination Shield checks whether citations exist and support their associated claims, with up to 50 citations checked per run. Users can edit Word documents in a browser and receive AI revisions as tracked changes. Plans list Google Drive and OneDrive or SharePoint connectors; confirmed document dates can be sent to Google Calendar. The maker says firm document vaults use separate database schemas, are private by default, and are not used to train AI models. It says its database and files are hosted in the United States on AWS via Supabase, with AES-256 encryption at rest and HTTPS on every page. The free plan includes three research messages and two citation checks per day, 25-page analysis, three projects, 100 MB storage, and one user. Solo costs $71 a month per seat billed annually, and a seven-day trial is listed.
