In their own words
Cato SASE Platform
Cato SASE Platform brings networking, security, and access into a cloud-native platform managed through a shared policy engine and console. Its network provides global connectivity, segmentation, and multi-cloud access over a cloud-native backbone. Security features use single-pass inspection and shared policy, and include firewall-as-a-service, secure web gateway, intrusion and malware prevention, DNS security, and remote browser isolation. Other listed capabilities include SD-WAN, CASB, DLP, XDR, endpoint protection, digital experience monitoring, and a platform API. Users can reach private applications through a ZTNA client, Enterprise Browser, or clientless portal; browser access can also reach hosted applications and RDP or SSH resources without installing the client. Cato lists 100 integrations across areas such as authentication, asset management, EDR, ITSM, SaaS security, and SIEM, though some require a separate license. The Cato Client supports Windows, macOS, Linux, iOS, and Android, subject to operating-system and client-version support. Pricing is available on request. The company was founded in 2015 and is based in Tel Aviv, Israel.
Megaport Cloud Router
Megaport Cloud Router (MCR) is a managed virtual Layer 3 router linking endpoints on the Megaport Network. It can route between cloud environments without requiring a customer’s physical presence in a data center, supporting multicloud and hybrid connectivity. MCR handles up to 10,000 static and dynamic routes, including routes configured for individual sub-VLANs on Q-in-Q-capable connections. Listed BGP capabilities include BFD, MED, static routing, autonomous-system-number support, a BGP toggle, and NAT IP addresses. MCR Looking Glass provides on-demand ping and traceroute from the router for connectivity checks and routing diagnosis. An optional IPsec add-on creates encrypted tunnels for branch offices, remote sites, or cloud environments without a physical Port. Megaport documents private AWS and Microsoft Azure connections through Direct Connect and ExpressRoute virtual cross connects, plus coverage for Google Cloud, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, IBM Cloud, and Alibaba Cloud. API documentation and a Terraform Provider support automation. Pricing starts at $780/mo; terms include monthly billing and a default 12-month minimum.
