In their own words

Cavirin

Cavirin is a security and compliance platform for cloud services and corporate data centers. It monitors environments without agents, reports security posture, and supports remediation. Its coverage includes AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Microsoft Azure, Oracle Cloud, on-premises data centers, containers, Kubernetes, and networking equipment, including Cisco Firepower and Cisco Meraki devices. More than 30 policy packs cover compute and cloud services across AWS, Azure, and GCP. Cavirin calculates a cyberposture score from 0 to 100, and its AI scoring uses historical information and current trends to project score trends up to 180 days ahead. Automatic remediation can use cloud functions and Ansible. The listed compliance evidence covers HIPAA, PCI, SOC2, ISO, GDPR, NIST, and DISA. Integrations include Slack, PagerDuty, ServiceNow, Jira, and Google Cloud Security Command Center; GuardDuty and Exploits DB integrations can raise the priority of gaps linked to threats and exploits. The free plan costs nothing and covers up to 25 on-premises virtual machines or one cloud account with up to 25 instances. It has no live customer support. Premium has no listed price and requires a minimum annual purchase of USD 12,000.

CloudSploit

CloudSploit is an open-source project for identifying possible misconfigurations and security risks in cloud accounts. It collects account metadata through cloud infrastructure APIs using read-only access, then scans that data for potential issues. Supported accounts include AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, and GitHub. The project documents a self-hosted version and a commercial version hosted at Aqua Wave. Setup instructions use NodeJS and npm, and Docker build and run commands are also provided. Its CLI can map findings to HIPAA, PCI, and CIS Level 1 and Level 2 requirements, and write results as CSV, JSON, or JUnit XML, or print them to the console. It can return a non-zero status for non-passing results, which can be used in CI/CD workflows. The CLI also includes AWS GovCloud and AWS China options. CloudSploit runs on Linux and the web, is listed under GPL-3.0, and its self-hosted open-source plan costs nothing.
