Supported protocols include HTTP, HTTPS, HTTP/2, REST, SOAP, Hessian, IMAP, FTP, DNS, XML, JSON, WebSocket, JDBC, TCP, and UDP. Messaging technologies include TIBCO JMS, TIBCO-EMS, IBM MQ, and Kafka. REST APIs and command-line interfaces connect NetOcean with CI/CD workflows. A web portal and thick client create, deploy, and manage virtual services. Service definitions support version control and rollback. The product is designed as an appliance and can also run as a virtual machine, with self-hosted, web, and API access. Cavisson states that one appliance can handle 100–1000 times more load than legacy solutions. Pricing is on request, and a free trial is listed.
