Silverpeas
Silverpeas is an open-source web platform for collaboration in enterprises, organizations, and administrations. Its digital workspace contains more than 25 applications. Document management includes access rights, versioning, and full-text search; communication tools include internal news, discussions, forums, and notifications. Forms and workflows are available on mobile, while project tools include dashboards, milestones, task assignment, and resource sharing.
The platform can connect to a corporate directory and integrate with an information system so employees can access business web applications according to their rights. It supports SSO protocols including Kerberos and SAMLv2. Silverpeas Mobile is available for iOS and Android, with offline mode, push alerts, and optional SSO. The free offer is a basic platform, but requires IT skills and customer-provided hosting, excludes additional modules, and provides mailing-list support. The SaaS offer is €2 a month per user, with 500 MB per user and a 10-to-50-user range. The Cloud offer is €2,000 a year billed from, with pricing depending on user count.
