In their own words
Cesure
Cesure is a guitar tablature editor and musician toolkit available in a browser and on Android and iOS. The same score can be edited as tablature, standard notation, staff plus tab, or piano roll, using keyboard entry, score tapping, or a MIDI keyboard. It can transcribe MP3, WAV, or M4A recordings into editable tabs; the maker describes these as drafts and says clean single-instrument recordings work best. Chord detection is free, unlimited, and computed on the user’s device, including offline. Practice tools include measure looping, tempo training, a chromatic tuner, metronome, tap BPM, scale reference, and piano. Cesure imports Guitar Pro, MIDI, MusicXML, and AlphaTex, and exports PDF, MIDI, and MusicXML; Pro adds AlphaTex export. Editing can start without an account, but saving and syncing scores, transcription, and hosting a room require one. Free includes three saved scores and five monthly AI transcriptions. Pro costs €4.99 per month and includes unlimited transcription and a synced library.
TabMaker
TabMaker is a browser-based tool for creating, organizing and managing tabs for guitar, bass, ukulele and banjo. Its AI can turn microphone-recorded guitar riffs into tabs, or process MP3 and M4A files up to 6 MB in Quick Tabs, Enhanced Tabs or Chords Only modes. A separate Guitar & Bass to MIDI tool converts MP3 recordings into standard MIDI files with detected notes and musical properties. The browser app supports tab and standard notation, and plays tabs with acoustic guitar, electric guitar, bass or banjo sounds. Tabs can be exported as PDF or ASCII text, printed in the browser or shared through a viewing link. The free plan costs nothing, requires no registration and stores tabs in browser localStorage; cloud storage is included with paid subscriptions. Monthly subscription costs $3.99 a month, or annual subscription costs $34.99 a year. The iOS app adds cloud saving and exports including PDF, MP3, MIDI and text.
