In their own words
Challengermode
Challengermode is a competitive engagement platform that adds tournaments, leaderboards, and community competition features to games. It serves game studios, publishers, esports organizers, and brands. Organizers can manage registration, brackets, prize payouts, branded Spaces, and payment options. Brand tools cover automated campaigns, in-game reach, branded landing pages, and campaign measurement. Developers can use a documented GraphQL API with real-time data and modular features including tournaments and leaderboards. The company says the platform has hosted more than 35 million competitions, supports more than 200 games, and has players in more than 80 countries; it also states a 99.95% uptime SLA. Players can sign up free and access tournaments and communities, but must connect the relevant game account to enter a game's tournaments. iOS and Android apps are for players and do not include organizer features. Enterprise services include white-label integrations, custom development, esports management, and privacy-compliant player and audience data tools.
NexGild
NexGild is a web platform for managing gaming guilds and clans through Discord. Its roster tools connect member ranks, permissions, rank history, and audit logs to Discord roles. Guilds can arrange events with Discord embeds, role-based signups, time-zone support, and a timestamp tool. Attendance can be checked through an event voice channel and summarized in attendance rates and an Event Matrix, with optional DKP. Recruitment forms support game and character selection, officer review, and routing by game. Other tools include leave requests, inactivity flags, crafting and material requests, polls, support tickets, and public guild homepages on a NexGild subdomain or an existing domain. Discord also handles sign-in, server roles, bot notifications, events, polls, and support tickets. The free plan costs nothing and allows one game and up to 30 members. Paid plans start at $9 a month; billing is monthly or annually. Using NexGild requires a Discord account, and users must be at least 13 years old.
