ChannelEngine

ChannelEngine connects brands’ and retailers’ systems with marketplaces and online sales channels, coordinating multichannel operations. It connects to more than 1,300 marketplaces and channels and exchanges product content, prices, stock, orders, and operational data. Its five core areas are content syndication, pricing and promotions, order management, inventory management, and reporting and analytics. Merchants can connect through a merchant plugin, the Merchant API, or product feeds, and combine these methods. Listed integrations include Shopify, Adobe Commerce/Magento, Microsoft Dynamics, NetSuite, SAP, and WooCommerce. The Insights module provides multichannel sales analytics on measures including GMV, AOV, listing availability, competition, and returns. The platform also lists inventory and order synchronization, automation rules, advanced warehouse support, fulfillment routing, and returns management. Pricing is tailored to marketplace GMV and integration requirements, with a monthly license fee and a success-based fee on incremental marketplace GMV growth; no price is listed. Marketplace seller fees, referral fees, and commissions are paid separately. ChannelEngine says it is best suited to mid-market and enterprise brands or retailers with active marketplace accounts and resources to manage those operations.

Openship

Openship is an open-source order management system that connects sales channels with fulfillment locations. It can split order line items and route them according to inventory, shipping costs, and delivery times. Product matching and inventory matching support fulfillment across channels, while configurable shops, channel links, and routing rules let users set up workflows for their operations. Examples of connectable shops include Shopify, WooCommerce, eBay, and Amazon. Described use cases connect marketplace sellers, third-party logistics providers, suppliers, and storefronts for fulfillment. Openship is self-hosted, with source code and documentation linked from its product page; hosted plans add managed infrastructure and automatic updates on Starter. Its free self-deployed plan includes unlimited shops, channels, orders, and users, with community support. Hosted Starter costs $99 a month and allows up to 1,000 orders and three users monthly. Professional costs $249 a month, with limits of 10,000 orders and 10 users. Enterprise costs $499 a month and includes unlimited orders, users, shops, and channels.
