In their own words

Cheese

Cheese is a free GNOME Desktop program for taking webcam photos and videos on Linux. It applies multiple effects to photos, and those effects and sharing choices also work with videos. A three-second visual countdown helps prepare for a shot, while burst mode captures a configured number of photos at a configured delay. Users can select an installed webcam, set its resolution, and adjust brightness and contrast. Fullscreen mode supports kiosk-style setups such as an office lobby or party. Photos can be saved to disk, emailed, uploaded to Flickr, exported to F-Spot, or used as a GNOME account photo. Installing nautilus-sendto adds more sharing options. Packages are listed for Arch Linux, Debian, Fedora, openSUSE, and Ubuntu, with stable tarballs and a GitLab repository also available. Documentation, chat, mailing-list, and issue-tracker support are listed. Cheese costs nothing.

VSCO

VSCO is a photo-editing service from VSCO, founded in 2011 and based in San Francisco, California. It runs on the web, iOS, and Android. Listed tools include batch editing, RAW photo support, cloud sync, and AI retouching. The free Starter plan includes 15 presets, and a seven-day trial is listed. Paid plans start at $2.49/mo with annual billing. Plus costs $29.99 per year and includes 200+ presets. Pro costs $59.99 per year and includes unlimited AI Lab and unlimited client galleries. VSCO One costs $499.99 per year, is annual only, and includes unlimited client galleries. The listed annual plan prices and billed amounts differ: Plus is also shown as $29.99 billed annually, Pro as $59.99 billed annually, and VSCO One as $499.99 billed annually. The tiers therefore set out different preset allowances and access to AI Lab and client galleries alongside their listed prices. VSCO is freemium, so users can begin with the Starter plan before choosing a paid option.
