In their own words
ChoreKeep
ChoreKeep is a shared chore app for families, couples, roommates, and other households, available on Android and iOS. Members join a household with an invite code and can assign chores to one person, several people, or anyone who claims them. Chores can be grouped by room, given due times, and set to repeat. The Free plan covers one household with unlimited rooms and chores, plus assignees, due dates, effort levels, reminders, an activity feed, and a leaderboard. The app also offers scheduled push reminders, week and month calendar views, points, and light, dark, and system themes. Pro adds round-robin rotation for repeating chores, Vacation Mode, and multiple households. Monthly and annual options are available, but the exact price appears in the app store before purchase. One subscription covers active household members; access to multiple households is tied to the purchasing account. The maker says analytics can be turned off in settings and personal information is not sold or shared for cross-context behavioral advertising. Profile and household photos use public media URLs that anyone with the URL may view.
ChoreTrack
ChoreTrack helps families assign chores, track children’s progress, and connect completed tasks to rewards. Children check off chores to earn points, gold-star check-offs, streaks, and medals. Families choose prizes and set their point costs, so children can see what they are saving toward. On a shared family device, each child can use a PIN view to check their chores, points, and prizes without an account. Parents can require approval for chore check-offs, using a parent PIN on the shared device or one tap on their own phone. Weekly report cards collect each child’s completed chores, points, streaks, and prizes, and can be shared as PDFs. The maker says the app is for children roughly ages 4–14. ChoreTrack runs on iOS and Android. The free plan covers two children, ten chores, one shared device, seven days of activity history, and CSV export. Plus is $5 a month or $50 a year per family, with 30 days free; it adds unlimited kids, chores, and prizes, phone sync, approval notifications, reports, and full activity history. Families can export chores, points, and prizes to CSV on any plan.
