Chuffed vs FundRazr

Chuffed is a web crowdfunding platform for socially conscious projects, serving individuals, not-for-profits, social enterprises, and community groups. Organizers can run crowdfunding campaigns, create peer-to-peer fundraiser pages and teams, add website donation forms, and offer regular or matched giving. Stripe and PayPal can be connected to receive donations directly, and Chuffed says campaigners need not meet a goal before accessing funds. Organizers can view donor data in real time, request on-demand reports, post campaign updates, and use email journeys to communicate with donors. Documented integrations include Google Analytics, Mailchimp, Salesforce, Facebook Pixel, and Action Network. Chuffed offers three free pricing models with different fee arrangements: Shared Model has no default platform fee, while campaigners pay 2–3% payment processing fees; Keep 100% Model places card fees on donors and is unavailable to EU/UK campaigners and, from 24 September 2026, Australian campaigns; Flat Fee Model charges campaigners card fees of 2–3% plus a Chuffed platform fee. Donors may add an optional tip in the first two models. Campaigns must meet the Acceptable Use Policy. Founded in 2013, Chuffed describes itself as a Social Benefit Company.

FundRazr is a crowdfunding and online fundraising platform for individuals, nonprofits, organizations, businesses, schools, sports teams, and other causes. Campaigns can use words, pictures, and videos, with Keep-it-all or All-or-nothing funding. Keep-it-all campaigns can run as long as needed; All-or-nothing campaigns can last up to 60 days. Payments connect to Stripe or PayPal, and funds go directly to those accounts rather than being held by FundRazr. Supported payment methods include credit and debit cards, Google Pay, and Apple Pay. Campaigns can include events, registration forms, tickets, teams, roles, permissions, leaderboards, wishlists, rewards, product variants, inventory, and shipping. Sharing options include Facebook, X, LinkedIn, email, Messenger, and WhatsApp; campaigns can also be embedded on websites. CRM and marketing integrations include Mailchimp and connections through Zapier. Organizations legally able to issue tax receipts can issue them automatically at no extra charge. The Optional Tips plan has no platform fee and payment processing of 2.9% + $0.30, with 95% of donors covering fees. Fee Recovery has a 1% donation-form or 5% fundraising-page platform fee, plus payment processing of 2.9% + $0.30.
