In their own words
Chunker
Chunker converts Minecraft worlds between Java Edition and Bedrock Edition, processing worlds locally on the user's machine. It can transfer level settings and world data such as blocks, biomes, and tile entities, as well as multiple dimensions, containers, items, and in-game maps. It can upgrade or downgrade worlds between supported game versions. Inputs include world folders, ZIP archives, and MCWORLD files, with drag-and-drop support. Users can adjust conversion and export settings and save settings for later conversions. The command-line interface supports conversion and workflow integration, but requires Java 17 or higher. Entities and player inventories are not converted; structure data such as villages and strongholds is listed as unsupported or limited. Chunker is free at free and open source under the MIT license. It is available for Windows, macOS, Linux, and through a web interface. Supported versions vary by edition: the listed ranges are Bedrock 1.12.0–1.26.50 and Java 1.8.8–1.21.11 and 26.1–26.3. Check compatibility before converting a world.
FModel
FModel is free, open-source Windows software for exploring and extracting content from games made with Unreal Engine. It can browse game archives, including encrypted ones, and compare two archive states to identify new or modified packages; encrypted archives require an AES key. It parses more than 30 asset types, displays their properties and offers image, audio and 3D viewing for supported content. Package properties can be shown in formats including JSON, INI, XML and TXT, and models can be saved as PSK files. An Export Session window supports batching raw data, model, world, texture and animation exports. The August 2026 release added USD export for meshes, animations, materials and worlds, plus WebP export and texture quality settings. Whole-level export is in USDA format, and sockets or attachments may not always be placed correctly. FModel is distributed as a portable x64 executable in a ZIP archive. It requires .NET 10.0 or later, and some games may require up to 2 GB of free RAM.
