| Limitations | The maker says site content is provided as is and does not guarantee game data is accurate, complete, or current. | The full stronghold criterion uses a ring-1 proximity heuristic because cubiomes does not simulate portal room layout; terrain checks are experimental biome-based proxies, not true surface noise. |
| Purpose | The finder searches Minecraft seeds for worlds matching conditions the user describes, such as nearby structures, biomes, or terrain. | EZ Seed Finder is a fast, GUI-based Minecraft Java Edition seed finder with an extensive .ezsf criteria language. |

In their own words
ChunkSeeds Seed Finder
ChunkSeeds Seed Finder is a free web tool for searching Minecraft seeds by combined world conditions, such as nearby structures, biomes, or terrain. Results must satisfy all selected conditions, and include matched structures with their distances; users can copy a seed or open it in an interactive map. The finder samples a random portion of seed space, so repeated searches can return different matches. A standard pass scans up to 350,000 seeds, while rare combinations may yield fewer results or take longer. Users choose a Minecraft version because structure and biome placement can change between versions. Reverse seed search currently supports Java Edition; the page directs Bedrock users to verified seed lists. The tool costs nothing, requires no account, and the maker says it runs on the user's own machine in a browser. The privacy policy says the site collects analytics and technical request details and may be supported by advertising. The maker does not guarantee game data is accurate, complete, or current, and describes the resource as unofficial and unaffiliated with Mojang Studios or Microsoft.
EZ Seed Finder
EZ Seed Finder searches for Minecraft Java Edition seeds through a graphical interface or the ezsf command-line tool. Its .ezsf criteria language supports random or sequential scans, seed ranges, thread counts and result limits. A search can combine checks across the Overworld, Nether and End, including structures, biomes, spawn conditions, strongholds, bastion variants, distances between structures, mobs and chest loot. Structure options include villages, temples, mansions, monuments, ruined portals, ancient cities and trial chambers. Results appear in a table, and double-clicking one copies its seed. The search engine uses cubiomes through a vendored cubiomespi-fork build. The package runs on Linux, macOS and Windows and requires Python 3.11 or later; the GUI also requires tkinter. Windows installation may require Microsoft C++ Build Tools to compile the native library. Stronghold and terrain results have accuracy limits: full-stronghold checks use a ring-1 proximity heuristic, while terrain and height checks are experimental biome-based proxies rather than true surface-noise analysis. The project is MIT-licensed and free, with no map preview.
