ChurchPlan
ChurchPlan combines giving, events, member records, education, liturgies, calendars, and communications in a church member app and admin portal. Churches can accept online and recurring donations, keep a searchable ledger, and issue tax receipts automatically. Event tools handle publication, registration, payments, QR tickets, and QR check-in. Member profiles can include family relationships, engagement details, and emergency or health information. Education features cover ministries, Sunday school, curriculum, attendance tracking, and parent follow-up. Essentials is free and includes unlimited members, online giving, tax receipts, a personalized mobile app, and donation links and QR. Engagement costs $99 a month, billed yearly at $1,188; Education costs $199 a month, billed yearly at $2,388. Enterprise also adds multi-church administration and API access. Stripe processes card payments; ChurchPlan says it does not retain full card credentials. The service states a 99.5% uptime SLA, breach notification within 72 hours, and a 90-day data export window after termination.
TimelyChurch
TimelyChurch brings church management, bookkeeping, and a church website together for small and growing churches. Its people and family tools include a searchable directory, family links, notes, tags, milestones, and automatic follow-ups. Online giving handles one-time and recurring donations, with donations posted to a fund-accounting ledger. Card payments are processed by Stripe, and TimelyChurch says it adds no platform fee to giving. Child check-in offers security codes, guardian-matched pickup, allergy alerts, name-tag printing, and real-time headcounts. Volunteer scheduling includes fair-rotation automation and Telegram confirmations. The website builder uses templates, custom domains, and event, giving, and group data drawn from TimelyChurch. It runs on Android, iOS, and the web. A free plan is available; Growth is $49 a month, and Pro is $129 a month. TimelyChurch began as a church CRM project in 2013 and adopted its current name in 2025.
