In their own words
Ciboo
Ciboo is a recipe and meal-planning app for Android and iOS. It turns links, videos, photos, pasted text, or descriptions into structured recipes, including sources from recipe sites, YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook videos. Recipes remain editable for titles, ingredients, amounts, steps, and photos. Users place recipes on a weekly calendar, then receive one aisle-sorted grocery list with quantities combined. An account is required, with email, Google, or Apple sign-in; recipes, plans, and lists are stored in that account. The app supports English and Russian, while imports can read other languages. Previously opened recipes remain available from device cache offline, but AI features and syncing require internet. The Free plan costs nothing and includes unlimited recipe saving, planning, and lists, five AI imports every seven days, and ten daily chat turns. Pro adds unlimited AI imports, smart search, and more recipe chat; billing runs through the App Store or Google Play.
Grocery AI
Grocery AI combines shopping lists, pantry tracking, recipes and meal planning, with household syncing across devices. Lists can be color-coded by store, shared live, checked by barcode and created from receipt scans. Pantry tools track food in the pantry, fridge and freezer, including remaining quantities and expiry alerts. Recipe features offer AI suggestions based on pantry contents, imports from Food Network, TikTok, YouTube, Instagram and Allrecipes, nutrition estimates, and cookbook-page scanning. The meal planner provides a two-week calendar, pantry-readiness checks, custom meal types and automatic shopping-list creation. The service lists iPhone, iPad, Mac, Watch and Android support. An account is optional for some functions but required for cloud backup, sharing with other users, rewards and recognition across devices. The free plan is available; Premium is listed at $6.99 a month or $59.99 a year as in-app purchases.
