In their own words
Claroty xDome
Claroty xDome gives security teams visibility into cyber-physical systems and context for assessing risk. It discovers assets through multiple methods, including non-passive techniques that can find devices before a passive collection server is deployed. Discovery updates the inventory, and the CPS Library helps identify devices. Teams can prioritize exposures by production line, system, and business purpose, with AI-powered remediation recommendations. xDome maps device communications and recommends micro-segmentation policies; device clustering can support zones aligned with IEC 62443. It also identifies known and emerging CPS-specific threat indicators and relates alerts to business context. Claroty says its platform covers more than 450 protocols; Modbus is listed as supported. Integration options include SIEM, SOAR, CMDB, maintenance, vulnerability, ticketing, network access, and endpoint tools, plus an MCP Server for AI ecosystems. It is a cloud-native modular SaaS platform available through web and API. Pricing is on request.
EmberOT
EmberOT is self-hosted software for monitoring industrial assets and networks. Its software sensors discover, classify, and track assets from remote network edges through core networks, while collecting and processing data locally. The product combines cybersecurity alerts with operational anomaly detection and process monitoring. It evaluates vulnerabilities using current and historical information to rank environment-specific risk and recommend remediation. The Odyssey console brings together sensor and license management, health monitoring, asset inventory, and network views. Listed protocols include IEC 61850, Siemens S7, CIP/ENIP, BACnet, Modbus, DNP3, and MQTT; SIEM integration is supported. Minimum sensor requirements are 4 cores, 4 GB RAM, and 30 GB storage. EmberOT also offers a free OT PCAP Analyzer for offline packet-capture review, including device and protocol identification, filtering, and search. The analyzer requires a valid school or business email for download, and does not provide live span or tap monitoring, outbound sending, historical storage, or threat and anomaly detection. Main-product pricing is on request.
