In their own words

ClauseBase

ClauseBase provides legal drafting and review tools for creating, refining and checking documents, including tools within Microsoft Word. ClauseBuddy can turn a template or document into an interactive questionnaire that generates customized, consistent documents. Its AI review and proofreading tools identify risks, errors and inconsistencies. Clause Finder lets teams build searchable clause libraries and insert stored clauses into Word documents. ClauseBuddy is available as Word and Outlook add-ins and as a standalone web application. Listed integrations include iManage, Contractify, Corporify, Google Maps, company database lookups, drag-and-drop and API options. ClauseBase says it is ISO 27001:2022 certified. Its production servers are hosted in Germany, with hourly encrypted database backups stored in Paris. For typical questionnaire templates, business data sent to generate a PDF or DOCX is deleted within 60 to 120 seconds. The company says it does not use customer data to train or fine-tune its own AI models. Its focus is drafting, not contract storage or archiving, and it does not supply its own ready-made legal templates. Pricing is available by contacting ClauseBase.

Its library includes real estate documents such as leases and deeds, as well as estate-planning documents such as wills and living trusts. Completed forms can be downloaded as Adobe PDF, Microsoft Word, or Open Document Text files. Blank templates are available to download without an account or billing information. Listed plan features include unlimited printing, PDF/Word/ODT export, regularly updated forms, and forms suited to state laws. The web service is intended for families, legal professionals, and entrepreneurs. Pro Monthly starts with a seven-day free trial and renews at $49 per month after the trial. Pro Annual costs $12 per month, billed as $144 upfront for one year. A single-document option has a variable one-time charge and allows unlimited access and revisions to that document. Lawyer Chat provides general legal information through automated tools and independent third-party legal experts. eForms says it is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice; its support agents cannot answer legal questions.
