ClearRound vs Huru

ClearRound is a web-based interview preparation service for job seekers, with mock interviews, resume checks, and career tools. Its free plan includes one mock interview, three questions, a model answer for the weakest response, unlimited resume structure checks across seven ATS systems, one keyword match, four resume templates, and eight salary calculators. A separate role-question generator creates five questions per role, permits three generations a day, and scores one answer. The free resume builder offers manual editing. Paid passes add unlimited voice mock interviews of up to 20 questions, feedback and a model answer for each answer, resume tailoring, cover letters, STAR stories, a LinkedIn optimiser, and preparation reports. The seven-day pass costs 999.00 INR once; the thirty-day pass costs 2499.00 INR once, and neither renews. ClearRound says it refunds a pass if the user completes a mock and writes within three days that the report gave them nothing to change. Spoken answers are transcribed and audio is discarded immediately; transcripts, questions, and scores are saved. Account and interview data is erased within 30 days after account deletion, subject to legal retention requirements.

Huru is an AI interview practice platform that conducts mock interviews and scores spoken answers with feedback. It focuses on behavioral interviews using the STAR method and also supports technical interview preparation. Candidates can practice from a library of 50,000+ questions across 242+ career roles and 29 categories, or create a custom interview by entering a job title and description. A Chrome extension can build an interview from an online job post. Answer scoring covers relevance, structure, specificity, impact, and articulation, with feedback on accuracy, grammar, and confidence. Its Interview Skills Agent assesses communication, teamwork, creativity, problem-solving, and adaptability, then provides levels, badges, and a practice plan. An AI resume builder tailors a resume to a target job while keeping employer, title, date, and result details as supplied. Huru lists English, Spanish, Portuguese, German, and French where language choice is available. A free plan includes unlimited mock interviews and full instant AI feedback; paid pricing starts at 8.25 per month on an annual basis. It is available on the web, iOS, and as an extension. Huru cautions that feedback can occasionally mishear a word and that scores are coaching signals, not hiring decisions or guarantees.
