In their own words
ClientLoop
ClientLoop is a branded client portal for collecting documents, forms, and information, with automatic follow-ups and a team dashboard. Clients use a magic link to submit files and complete forms without an account or app installation. Teams can prepare reusable document sets, create forms with tables, file fields, and signatures, and schedule reminders. They can preview submissions, request changes, approve or reject them, and message clients about a specific request. Built-in integrations include Calendly, Asana, and Slack; other connections are available through Zapier, n8n, Make, REST API, and webhooks. The REST API supports creating requests and checking submission statuses and approvals; API and webhooks are included from Pro. ClientLoop says uploads are virus-scanned, storage is encrypted, and files are stored in the UK. Its free plan is limited to 5 clients and 1 team member, with 1 GB storage and 100 uploads per month. Paid monthly plans start at £35 a month, excluding VAT, and list storage and upload caps.
GatherMonk
GatherMonk collects documents, forms, files, information and signatures from people outside an organization through structured requests. Requests can include checklists, uploads, e-signatures, reminders, submission tracking and approval or rejection. Branded Client Portals provide passwordless email-link access to requests and guides. Built-in forms support uploads and signatures and can be embedded on websites. Transfers share files through secure links with open tracking, and the maker says there are no file-size limits. A Chrome Plugin works across Chrome tabs, including HubSpot, Salesforce, Gmail and Outlook, without API setup or configuration. GatherMonk states that data is encrypted at rest and in transit and that the service is GDPR compliant; users can export or permanently delete data. It targets legal, accounting, HR, events, agencies and other professional services. Paid plans include a 14-day trial with no credit card, but no permanent free plan. Pricing starts at $29/mo.
