Clio Draft
Clio Draft is a web-based legal document automation service that uses AI to collect client information and prepare documents. Its AI can turn Microsoft Word files into reusable fillable templates, while document sets let users populate related forms for one case together. Online questionnaires gather client details, map answers to templates, and can adapt based on responses. The service includes thousands of fillable PDF court forms covering all 50 U.S. states, including state, county, and federal immigration forms. Built-in e-signatures let clients sign from any device; Clio describes this capability as federally compliant. Clio Manage can pass client and matter details into Draft templates. Documents are editable in a browser and downloadable as PDF or Word files. Clio says cloud documents use encryption, automatic backups, and two-factor authentication. Its Trust Centre lists GDPR, HIPAA, SOC 1 Type 2, SOC 2 Type 2, and TX-RAMP materials. Pricing is on request and includes onboarding, live training, and phone, email, and chat support described as available 24/5.
Legito
Legito is a document lifecycle service for automating, managing, approving, and signing documents. Users can build advanced documents without coding by combining interactive templates with inserted data, then configure workflows and approvals. Listed document tools include renewal tracking, revision history, external recordkeeping, analytics, and managerial reporting. Signatories can use the service in a web browser on any device without installing an app; BioSign supports biometric signing of PDF documents on tablets and smartphones. Direct signing is limited to PDFs, while other document formats are converted to PDF. Legito says signed PDFs use a verified third-party certificate for encryption and provides audit trails and timelines that record actions and timing. Integration options include off-the-shelf, no-code, API, webhook, and DocuSign connections. The free tier includes a workspace and electronic signatures. Paid Workspace plans have a 30-day trial. Listed Starter pricing is €6.90 a month, and Business is €13.90 a month. Membership renews automatically, but cancellation carries no extra cost. Legito was founded in 2014.
