In their own words

Clipbara

Clipbara is a macOS clipboard manager that keeps a searchable history of copied items, including text, rich text, HTML, images, links, files, and colors. Search can examine clip contents, titles, or source apps, with filters by type and date. Pinboards organize reusable clips, and Quick Look previews items from the history panel. Selecting a clip restores it to the clipboard for pasting into the active app. The maker says history stays locally and that the app has no account, server, or analytics. Capture, search, preview, and paste work offline, though the DMG build uses the network for Sparkle update checks. Users can exclude apps from recording and export or import histories as JSON. Builds are available from the Mac App Store, DMG, and Homebrew. The source is GPL-3.0, while the Mac App Store edition has a separate proprietary license. The DMG / Homebrew plan is free for macOS 14 Sonoma or later; a 7-day trial is listed for the App Store in-app purchase, and Clipbara Lifetime costs $7.99, paid once purchase for macOS 14.0 or later.

Clipy

Clipy is a free, open-source clipboard extension app for macOS. It opens clipboard history with a keyboard shortcut so you can choose an item copied earlier, and it provides a separate menu for saved snippets. Default shortcuts are Shift-Command-V for the main menu, Control-Command-V for history, and Shift-Command-B for snippets. Clipy supports clipboard formats including plain text and images. Clipboard history, snippets, preferences, and related data stay on the Mac. The project says copied contents are not transmitted to its servers or third parties. Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics are enabled by default but can be disabled in Preferences. Sparkle checks for updates. Clipy requires macOS 13 Ventura or later, is released under the MIT license, and accepts donations. macOS may require Accessibility permission for paste behavior.
