In their own words

Cliperoni

Cliperoni turns audio and video sources into captioned clips formatted for publishing on X, YouTube, and TikTok. Start with an X Space or YouTube link, a podcast RSS feed, or an uploaded recording; you can also select a podcast episode through Podcast Index or follow a show, channel, or host for automatic imports. The service transcribes the source, identifies moments it scores for hook strength, and drafts clips. You can request clips by topic, then use speaker-tagged, word-timed captions and templates for 9:16, 1:1, or 16:9 video. Clips can go directly to connected social accounts, with suggested post text for X and YouTube. Teams can share publishing accounts, and the agency workflow supports client rosters and per-team minute counters. Plans count source-content minutes, not finished clip length; purchased top-up minutes do not expire. The free plan includes 250 minutes monthly, 5 GB storage, and one member, with a short outro on clips. Paid plans start at $24/mo; Clipper is $19.00 per month billed yearly and Creator is $28.00 per month billed yearly.

ReClipStudio

ReClipStudio turns long videos into short vertical clips by detecting moments, reframing footage and adding burned-in captions. Clipping, reframing, transcription and captioning run locally; its maker says it does not receive or store source videos, finished clips or transcripts. Captions can animate word by word, include emoji or overlay text, and use restylable designs. The app can follow speakers or moving subjects, with multi-speaker layouts and object tracking. Exports support 9:16, 4:5, 1:1 and 16:9, including multiple ratios in one render pass. Pro adds batch processing and watch-folder automation. Users can optionally supply an OpenAI or Claude key for AI moment detection and connect an Amazon S3 bucket; clips can be saved to disk or sent there. ReClipStudio is available for Linux, macOS, Windows and the web. It is free to try, but exports carry a watermark until a license is activated. Creator costs $99, paid once; Pro costs $139, paid once.
