In their own words
ClipForge
ClipForge turns long videos into captioned short clips for social media on iOS and the web. Users provide a YouTube link or upload a podcast video, then prompt the AI for moments or let it identify likely viral sections. Whisper transcribes the source, while GPT-4o-mini scores moments for hook strength, retention, and shareability. Clips receive word-by-word animated captions in five styles: Bold Pop, Clean, Neon, HYPE, and Minimal. Niche presets for finance, comedy, fitness, and tech adjust captions, thumbnails, music mood, and hook voice. One credit processes one video into typically 8–15 clips. Clips can be published immediately or scheduled across a week to TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts. The Free plan costs nothing and includes one lifetime clip set for a source up to five minutes, with watermark and outro. Plus costs $14.99 a month for 40 credits monthly and no watermark. Translation and voice cloning use extra credits.
