ClipForge
ClipForge turns long videos into captioned short clips for social media on iOS and the web. Users provide a YouTube link or upload a podcast video, then prompt the AI for moments or let it identify likely viral sections. Whisper transcribes the source, while GPT-4o-mini scores moments for hook strength, retention, and shareability. Clips receive word-by-word animated captions in five styles: Bold Pop, Clean, Neon, HYPE, and Minimal. Niche presets for finance, comedy, fitness, and tech adjust captions, thumbnails, music mood, and hook voice. One credit processes one video into typically 8–15 clips. Clips can be published immediately or scheduled across a week to TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts. The Free plan costs nothing and includes one lifetime clip set for a source up to five minutes, with watermark and outro. Plus costs $14.99 a month for 40 credits monthly and no watermark. Translation and voice cloning use extra credits.
RitalgoClip
RitalgoClip is a web service that analyzes videos from YouTube links, Twitch VOD links, local uploads, or directed live-stream capture, then ranks moments and renders short vertical clips. You can choose a preset scoring style or write a plain-English rubric; each moment receives a 0-to-2 score for every criterion. A completed job delivers up to five ready-to-post clips with scores, written reasons, hook titles, and timed captions. The timeline editor supports splitting, trimming, retiming, layers, word-level caption edits, hook-title changes, source extension, and template switching. Podcast layouts keep two or three speakers visible in vertical panels and output 1080×1920 MP4 files with captions and burned-in titles. Clips can be published through a connected TikTok account or downloaded. A separate Video Reframer accepts MP4 or MOV files up to 120 seconds, converts them to 9:16, and adds karaoke captions without an account. The free plan includes one source hour monthly; paid plans start at $15 a month.
