In their own words

Clipman

Clipman is a free, open-source clipboard manager for Windows, macOS, Linux, Android, iPhone, and iPad. Its history can be searched, named, grouped, pinned, edited, and pasted without opening the app first. It handles text, links, formatting, images, and files, with optional views for links and rich text. The app is designed for keyboard and screen-reader use, with predictable keyboard behavior and concise spoken feedback. History can stay on a device, use a shared folder, or be stored on an optional self-hosted Clipman Server. Windows and Mac can synchronize through a cloud-synced folder or network share; the server supports encrypted synchronization across supported platforms. Privacy controls include history encryption, excluding selected apps, and honoring clipboard privacy signals. Quick Paste provides global hotkeys and templates, while Quick Clip saves an entry directly. A command-line tool can manage server-backed text history on Windows, macOS, and Linux. The project releases Clipman under the MIT License.

Pasteable

Pasteable saves copied text, rich text, HTML, images, files, URLs, and code in a searchable clipboard history. It offers full-text and on-device semantic search, including searches for images by description. Smart collections sort clips into groups such as Photos, Code, Links, Files, and Design; users can also create collections with custom rules. On desktop, ⌘/Ctrl+Shift+V opens a keyboard-driven overlay, and system-wide snippets can expand saved clips. Clip history is stored locally in SQLite, works offline without an account, and is encrypted at rest with an operating-system-sealed key. The maker says synced clips are encrypted on the device and its servers store only ciphertext. The free plan includes unlimited local history and 25 synced clips. Pasteable Pro costs $6 a month or $60 a year; Lifetime costs $80.00 USD one-time. The site lists macOS 11+, Windows 10 and 11, and 64-bit Linux, and says iOS and Android apps are in App Store and Play Store review.
