In their own words
Cloudalize Cloud Workstation
Cloudalize Cloud Workstation is a managed Desktop-as-a-Service that delivers a GPU-accelerated computer over the internet. Cloudalize presents it for 3D modeling, CAD, video editing, remote work, and distance learning. Workstations use Windows Server 2016-based desktops where Windows applications can be installed, subject to the maker’s stated exception for fraudulent activity. Access is through a browser or Citrix Receiver; Citrix supports local devices and up to four screens at up to 4K resolution. Browser access is described for iPads, MacBooks, Android devices, and Windows devices. Shared workspaces can include people outside an organization, although real-time collaboration depends on the application. M600–M608 configurations list 2–10 CPUs, 4–64 GB RAM, and 50–400 GB storage. Customers prepay credits, each worth €1 or $1. Hourly billing charges every started hour as a full hour; unlimited plans provide 24/7 use.
DaaS
DaaS provides a cloud-hosted workstation that users access through a browser on an internet-connected device. Firefox, Chrome, and Microsoft Edge are listed as compatible browsers. Users can configure CPU, GPU, RAM, operating system, and storage, while the provider manages infrastructure, maintenance, and software updates. The maker describes the service for training organizations, enterprises, integration testing, and marketing workflows, and says rented computers can run tools such as Stable Diffusion, Mixtral, Whisper, and n8n. Its homepage describes scaling from zero to 100 machines. The free option provides one machine in a private network for one hour per day, with Ubuntu Desktop 24.04, 4 GB RAM, 8 GB storage, and one CPU core. Paid machines can use Ubuntu Desktop LTS or Windows 11; custom operating systems are supported in Qcow2 or ISO format. Paid rentals are charged per day, with hourly price depending on configuration. Multiple machines, GPU options, and optional live backup are listed for paid configurations. The provider recommends a stable connection of at least 5 Mbps per user.
