In their own words
Cloudbeds Channel Manager
Cloudbeds Channel Manager connects a property’s booking operations with online travel agencies and other booking channels. It lists 450 connected channels, OTA connections, real-time inventory synchronization, and support for multi-property operations. The Booking Engine is included in the One and Experience plans, alongside the Channel Manager; Experience also adds Guest Experience. Flex includes PMS, Payments, and Marketplace, with distribution brought by the customer and the channel manager partner separate. Enterprise offers custom packages for hospitality groups, brands, or management companies. The product is listed for Android, iOS, and web. Cloudbeds offers paid plans, but prices are available on request, and there is no free plan. The plan structure distinguishes whether Channel Manager and Booking Engine are included, so those choosing Flex should note that its distribution and channel manager arrangement differs from the other listed packages.
Oracle Payments Cloud Service
Oracle Payments Cloud Service handles payments for hotels and restaurants through the web. It accepts debit and credit cards, Apple Pay, Samsung Pay, and Google Pay, and supports card-present, online, mobile, and tableside payments. Workflows include deposit and preauthorization rules, bar tabs, contactless payments, dynamic currency conversion, pay-at-table payments, and receipt printing. Tokenization supports card-data processing; Oracle says transactions use end-to-end encryption and the service complies with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard. In OPERA Cloud, Pay by Link can be enabled and configured with deposit rules and email templates. A reconciliation workflow compares card revenue posted in OPERA Cloud PMS with amounts processed, settled, and paid out through Oracle Payments. Oracle describes pricing as flat-rate, pay-as-you-go, month-to-month, without long-term contracts, additional service or convenience fees, or monthly minimums, but lists no numeric rate. The service is available in the United States and United Kingdom. Oracle says hospitality experts assist with deployment and customers have a single support team available 24/7/365.
