phpMyAdmin

phpMyAdmin is free, self-hosted web software written in PHP for administering MySQL and MariaDB. It provides controls for databases, tables, columns, relations, indexes, and users, and lets administrators execute SQL commands. CSV and SQL files can be imported, while exports include CSV, SQL, XML, PDF, OpenDocument, Word, and LaTeX. Multi-server administration is available for centralized control of multiple MySQL servers. A graphical schema view, query-by-example, and searches across tables, columns, or databases support database work. The project says the interface is translated into 98 languages and handles both left-to-right and right-to-left languages. Installation guidance, downloads, an official Docker image, and Composer installation are provided. Stable 5.2 requires PHP 7.2 or newer and MySQL or MariaDB 5.5 or newer. The software is available on Linux and through web deployment, with roles and permissions supported.
