In their own words
CoAnimator
CoAnimator is a desktop app for making product demos, launch videos, tutorials, and animations with AI agents. Users assemble videos scene by scene and can add effects, captions, and overlays to real footage. Rendering happens locally, and the maker says local renders are unlimited. The app includes a studio and coa CLI, with projects kept as plain files on disk. It runs on Linux, macOS, and Windows. The free plan costs nothing and limits exports to 720p with a watermark. A lifetime licence costs $99 as a one-time purchase, including tax, and supports exports up to 4K without a watermark, premium plugins and research mode, two devices, and one year of updates. Optional updates after the first year cost $79 a year; an existing version continues to work without renewal. Integrations include named AI agents and plugins, but providers bill through users’ own accounts and plugin activity may transmit inputs to them. The maker says project files, media, renders, and API keys stay on the user’s machine; the app sends licence and update checks and crash reports.
