In their own words
CoCut Pro XT
CoCut Pro XT turns supported illustration programs into a signmaking workflow for vinyl signage and Print & Cut production. Its Pro XT edition includes an AutoCAD plugin for cutting directly from AutoCAD. It detects common optical-sensor cut marks and supports systems including Summa OPOS, Mimaki OPAAL, GCC AAS, Roland (not all models), Mutoh, and Graphtec. Production tools include cutting by color, bitmap contouring, segmentation for oversized plots, material display, foil optimization, weeding aids, and PhotoCut. Multiple plotters can be configured and controlled from one computer. Listed host programs include CorelDRAW through 2026, CorelDesigner, Illustrator through CC (2026), InDesign through CC (2023), AutoCAD through 2026/LT 2026, and Inkscape. It runs on Windows 7, 8, 10, or 11 in 32-bit or 64-bit versions. The maker offers a 30-day free trial by request and installation assistance. For flatbed cutters with multi-tool head support, it recommends OptiScout Front-End. The product is aimed at signmakers, vehicle labelers, screen printers, print service providers, and specified Zünd PN/M-C2 cutting workflows.
SignPlot
SignPlot is Windows software for designing traffic signs under TSRGD and the Traffic Signs Manual. It runs directly on Windows without CAD software and automates sign layout, spacing, and regulatory rules. Its generators create parking plates, regulatory signs, and supplementary plates, including permitted TSRGD variants. As a sign is defined, SignPlot displays a solid-colour preview, sizes and positions text and symbols, and checks spelling. It produces vector graphics for sign manufacture and supports many vector and raster export formats, including print-and-cut workflows. Welsh translation supports bilingual parking and other plates, while Scottish Gaelic is supported on directional signs. SignPlot integrates with Causeway SignLoad for structural design of supports and foundations. Causeway lists version 4.0 through a download form. Users receive additional resources through a secure login-only area and can use a support portal for download issues. Pricing is available on request.
