Codebeamer
Codebeamer is an application lifecycle management platform for teams coordinating requirements, product variants, testing, and regulatory compliance. It tracks requirements, epics, and user stories through the software engineering lifecycle, with traceability linking requirements to testing and release in a central work-item repository. Teams can configure processes and digital workflows, assess and document development risks, and manage test and quality work. Product line tools support variants for different markets. Agile planning includes a planner, Kanban, backlog, and release system; Codebeamer can also orchestrate CI/CD pipelines such as Jenkins and Azure Pipelines. It connects with tools including IBM DOORS, Jira, GitHub, GitLab, and Microsoft Office, with REST and Swagger APIs for custom integrations and automation. Deployment is on premises or in PTC’s hosted Codebeamer+ environment. The paid product has pricing on request and a 30-day trial. Licensing varies by user roles and usage. On-premises purchases include Production, QA, and Development environments; Codebeamer+ includes Production and Non-production environments.
